One of my favorite places in all of south Florida is the Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Coral Gables, so when I felt better on Sunday, that's where I went.
This bird was quite tame and so let me get quite close.
The butterfly garden was surprisingly busy for this time of year!
The gardens were hosting a special orchid exhibit in the rainforest section.
The butterfly house has recently been expanded.
Iguanas are protected, and, unfortunately, are everywhere.
